This Adequacy Audit Report is mainly to ascertain that the various requirements of Hazard Analysis and
Critical Control Point (HACCP) system and the associated requirements according to the Malaysian
Certification Scheme for HACCP (MCS 1), and the Malaysian Standard MS 1480: 2007 (Rev. 1) Food
Safety According to HACCP are being addressed in the Company’s HACCP Manual. The requirements
of the other elements associated with the Implementation of HACCP are grouped together as Pre-
requisite Programs (PRP), and these are checked against MCS 2 and the Malaysian Standard MS 1514:
2009 (Rev. 1) Good Manufacturing Practices, equivalent to the Codex General Principles of Food
Hygiene, 2003.
This report is based on the documentation* received from the company and does not constitute an
approval of the HACCP system implemented by the company, owing to the fact that the safety and
safety management system in the plant can only be verified during a physical assessment. The
adequacy audit exercise does not include the technical aspects of processing that will be covered
during the on-site compliance auditing.
