This British Standard is the UK implementation of EN 225-2:2007. Together


with BS EN 225-1:2007 it supersedes BS 799-7:1988 which is withdrawn.
The UK participation in its preparation was entrusted to Technical Committee
GSE/27, Automatic gas and oil burners.
A list of organizations represented on this committee can be obtained on
request to its secretary.
This publication does not purport to include all the necessary provisions of a
contract. Users are responsible for its correct application.

This document (EN 225-2:2007) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 47 “Atomizing oil burners
and their components-Function-Safety-Testing”, the secretariat of which is held by DIN.

This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or
by endorsement, at the latest by April 2008, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by
April 2008.

Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent rights.

1 Scope
This European Standard specifies the dimensions of motors for atomizing oil burners.

2 Dimensions
The dimensions shall be those given in Figure 1 through Figure 3.

The size 32-08 has two versions:

 Version A : Depth 22 mm
 Version B : Depth 28 mm
