2. Professor of Information Technology  Qualification
BPS-21 Regular/ TTS basis (as per HEC criteria) PhD degree in relevant field, recognized by HEC in
consultation with PEC.
 Experience
15-years teaching/research experience in a recognized
Institution/College/University or 15-years professional
experience in the relevant field in a National or International
organization out of which 05-years must be teaching
experience.
OR
10-years post-PhD teaching/research experience in an HEC
recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or
professional experience in the relevant field in a National or
International organization.
 Publications
The applicant must have 15 research publications with at
least 05 publications in the last five years in HEC/PEC
recognized Journals.

3. Associate Professor  Qualification

years relevant experience in BS-17 or above in the

Administration, Management Sciences, Administrative
Sciences or Commerce with twenty years’ relevant
experience in BS-17 or above in the Government, a
University or an Educational Institution.
 Age 40 – 55 upto 65 years if on contract
8. Chief Librarian i) PhD in Library and Information Science with five years’
BS-19 Regular post PhD relevant experience;
ii) M.Phil in Library and Information Science with ten years’
relevant experience in BS-17 or above; or
iii) Master degree (first division) in Library and Information
Science with twelve years’ relevant experience in BS-17
or above.
 Age 35 – 50 years
 9. Senior Engineer BSc (Civil Engineering) with six years' relevant experience in
BS-18 Regular BS-17 or equivalent in Government, a university or an
educational institution.
 Age 25-40 years
10. Deputy Director (Planning & Development) Master degree (first division) in relevant subject or
BS-18 Regular equivalent with six years’ relevant experience.
Age 30-40 years
11. Senior Medical Officer MBBS with six years’ experience as registered medical
BS-18 Regular practitioner.
 Age 25-40 years
12. Medical Officer MBBS with one year’s experience as registered medical
BS-17 against Leave vacancy practitioner.
 Age 22-35 years
13. Assistant Director (Public Relation Officer) Master degree in relevant subject or equivalent with one
BS-17 Regular years’ relevant experience for those who obtained first
division in master’s degree and five years relevant
experience for those who obtained second division in
master’s degree.

14. Assistant Director (Administration) Master degree in relevant subject or equivalent with one

General Information
1. Candidates already working in UE under IPFP program of HEC will be given preference.
2. Degrees only from HEC recognized Universities/degree awarding Institutions will be considered.
3. Foreign degree holders must submit their equivalence certificate/(s) issued by the HEC, Pakistan.
4. Candidates are required to apply online after creating his/her log in password on university portal web.ue.edu.pk/jobs.
5. After submitting On-Line Application Form, Applicants are required to sign and submit printout of this pre-filled On-Line
application form to the Registrar Office, University of Education, College Road Township, Lahore along with attested copies
of all educational documents/certificates, experience certificates and original Demand Draft of worth Rs.2000/- for the posts
at Sr. # 01 to 05, 07, 08 and Rs. 1000/- for the posts at Sr.# 06, 09 to 14 payable to the Treasurer, University of Education,
Lahore on or before the closing date for submission of On-Line Application Form. Onus of proof of dispatch of hardcopy of
online form and documents, before the closing date, shall solely lie on the candidate. Only On-Line application without
submitting printout of pre-filled On-Line application form will not be accepted.
6. The candidates applying On-Line for the posts of Professor/Associate Professor should submit set of six hard copies of On-
Line Applications along with six complete sets of testimonials/research publications/certificate of any distinction etc.
7. In case candidate desires to apply for more than one post, he/she must apply separately for each post.
8. Candidates presently working in Government, Semi Government and Autonomous Bodies must send their applications
through proper channel only. On-Line applications submitted without NOC shall not be entertained.
9. Closing date for submission of applications is 21-04-2017.
10. Editing options, to edit/correct any data in the On-Line Application Form, will be available to the candidates till the Closing
Date of submission of On-Line Applications.
11. Relaxation in upper age limit may be granted to suitable candidates as per rules.
12. Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for interview. No TA/DA will be admissible.
13. The Selectees will be liable to serve in any Campus/Division of the University of Education, Lahore.
14. The quota for disable persons, minorities and women will be observed as per rules.
15. University reserves the rights to increase/decrease or totally withdraw the vacancies without assigning any reason.
