The Candy system supports Network master capability, i.e. more than one user using the same master on the
network.
The following terminology is used in this section of the manual:
The Protector - The person who sets up the Network Master Company initially would generally be the Chief
Estimator. The protector has the following permissions:
• Enrol other users (by initials), which allows them to peruse the Network Master company.
• Delete any user who is then denied access to the Network Master Company.
• Designate any other user as protector after which he resorts to being a normal user.
• Access any job without restriction.
The Creator - Any user with access to the multi-user company may set up a job and his initials are logged as

A User - A user with access to the Network Master Company has the following permissions:
1. Set the path for the Master Company on all the machines

the network. The network master company must therefore first be installed on the user’s computers.
• From the company manager, select Tools > Install Network Master Access.
• The Estimating Multi User Shared Company will appear in the Company selector.
• Users must be registered by the Protector to allow access in the Master Company.
• Right click in the Estimating Network Master and select Enrol users.
• Click OK.
