 How To Operate An Electronic Rice Cooker

Nowdays cooking is no longer a complicated things. Especially when it comes to cooking rice,
there is an electronic device designed specially for this. We know this device as Rice Cooker,
Magic Jar or Magic Com. The following steps will show you how to operate a Rice Cooker
properly.
1. Wash the cooking pot and make sure the inner side is clean
2. Measure the rice by using the measurement cup and put the rice into the cooking pot.
Make sure to give space for the rice, water and the expansion
3. Rince the rice so that we can remove the pesticides that may be present
4. Add some water into the cooking pot, usually we need to see the water is 1 cm above the
rice surface
5. Soak the rice for about 30 minutes in order to make the cooked rice sticker
6. Put the cooking pot along with the rice and water into the Rice Cooker
7. Close the Rice Cooker lid and then plug the cable into the electricity socket
8. Start the Rice Cooker by pressing the cooking/timer button
9. Wait until the cooking process is over
10. Open the lid and the rice is ready to be served
 How To Install Printer Software To Your Computer

In order to make your computer detect the printer, you must first install the software from the CD
provided inside the box. You need to open the box and get the CD, after that follow these
following instruction to successfully install the software.
1. Insert the CD into the CD room on your computer
2. Wait until the CD room finish reading the CD
3. A dialogue box will pop out on your computer screen, giving you an option to install the
software, choose “Yes” to continue with the installation process
4. Next, the dialogue box will let you to choose your “Country Region”, choose “Asia” if
you live within Asia continent. Then click “Next” button
5. After that, choose your country, then click “Next” button
6. Next, dialogue box will let you to choose type of installation, the best is to choose “Easy
Install” option, but if you are an expert, you can also choose “Custom Install” option
7. After that click “Install” button,wait for about 10 minutes
8. During the installation process is running, plug the power cable into the electricity socket,
and then turn on the printer by pressing the power button (if your printer is Canon Pixma
iP2770 there are two button on your printer and the power button is the one on top)
9. At the end of the installation process, (make sure the printer is on) we need to plug the
printer USB cable into the USB socket on your computer so the software will be able to
synchronize with the device
10. Installation process is complete and your printer is ready to use
 How To Operate Printer To Printer Document And Picture

We use printer in various activity in our daily life. We use our printer to do a lot of things,
starting with printing school assignment, presentation project, legal document and even personal
photos. In order to maximize the result, you can try these following simple tricks.
1. If the printer is off, turn it on and connect the USB cable to the computer
2. If you want to print document, choose the designed document and open it
3. Press ctrl+P button on your keyboard as a hotkey to active printing command on the
computer, or you can also find the printing command on your toolbar by clicking the
Microsoft Word icon on the top-left corner and then select “Print”
4. If you want to print document and you think that everything is all set, ypu can continue
right right away and click the “OK” button at the bottom of the dialogue box and the
printer will do their job for you

Here is some additional trick to maximize your printing result :

First you need to open the printing dialogue box by prssing Ctrl+P button or as I told you
before. Next, on the dialogue box find “properties” button and click it. And these are
some option that you will find right there :
2-on-1 printing = 2 page printed on the same paper
4-on-1 printing = 4 page printed on the same paper
Duplex Printing (Manual) = To print on the font and the back side of the paper easily
Print from last page = 10 start printing from the last page so we don’t have to re arrage
the result
Borderless Printing = To print until the border of the page
Grayscale Printing = To print everything black
 Fast (Speed Priority) = To make the printing process faster

You can chose one of the options above to help you maximize your printing result.

5. If you want to print picture, go to the directory of the file

6. When you find the file, select the file by clicking it one time
7. Next, place your mouse pointer on the picture that you want to print
8. Right click on the picture, select “Print”
9. On the dialogue box, make some adjustment on how you want your picture to be printed,
if it is done click “Print”
10. Wait until the printing process is finish, done
 How To Use Nasal Cannula

The technique of nasal cannula insertion starts from the preparation of the patient, the equipment,
and the procedural installation. The important thing about the technique of nasal canul insertion
is to make sure the patient, and the oxygen rate is according to the patient’s needs.
Patient Preparation
Preparations made for the installation of oxygen nasal cannul include :
1. Conduct clinical assessments in patient to ensure indications of action are met. Make sure
the patient experiences hypoxia through oxygen saturation examination using an oximeter
2. Make sure there is no airway obstruction in the nose. If there is excessive mucus
production, suck using suction
3. Educate patients about the purpose of the action
4. Make sure there are clear instructions in the medical record regarding the oxygen flow
dose given, duration of administration, titration, and monitoring

Equipment
Make sure all equipment is available and functioning. The equipment used in nasal cannul
installation is :
1. Nasal cannul with appropriate size
2. Oxygen cylinders or other sources of oxygen
3. Oxygen regulator attached to the oxygen source
4. Flow meter to regulate the speed of oxygen flow
5. Humidifier

Patient position
The recommended position is an a sitting or semi-fowler position to maximize lung expansion.
Other positions are allowed if the two positions mentioned above are not possible.
Procedural
Nasal cannul insertion procedures for oxygen therapy include :
1. Make sure the oxygen source is available and installed with a regulator, flowmeter, and
humidifier.
2. Patient identification correctly
3. Washing hands.
4. Re-explainthe procedure to the patien.
5. Position the patien to shit or helf- sit whenever possible.
6. Connet the cannula hose to the oxygen source.
7. Trun on the oxygen flow according to the dose the patien needs, make sure there is
oxygen flowing out trough the tip of the cannula.
8. Position the prong from the nasal cannula to curve downwards, then insert the prong into
the nasal cavity (see figure 3).
9. Position the two side of the tube above and behind the ear.
10. Fixation of cannula on the lower chin of the patient.
11. Monitor the patient`s clinical respone and routine oxygen flow continuity.
 Infusion Procedure

The following is an example of SOP for infusion installation. The step include :
1. Washing hands
2. Prepare a tool
3. Hold the tool
4. Explain to cliente about the procedure and the sensations that will be felt during the
infusion
5. Adjust the patient’s position. For example by lying down
6. Prepare the liquid be connecting the liquid bottle with an IV tube and hang it to rhe IV
standart
7. Determine the venous area to be pricked
8. Place the base
9. Place the tourniquet stem ± 15 cm above the vein to be pricked
10. Wear gloves
11. Disinfection of the area to be pierced with a diameter of 5-10 cm
12. Puncture the IV catheter into the vein with the needle facing the heart
13. Make sure the IV needle goes into the vein
14. Connect IV needle with IV line
15. Fix IV needle tip at insertion site
16. Cover the insertion area with dry gauze the tape
17. Set the drip line according to the medical program
18. Take off the gloves
19. Put an action implementation label the contains: name of implementer, date and time of
implementation
20. Tidy up the tools
21. Tell the patient that the installation process is complete
22. Washing hands
23. Observation and evaluation of patient responses, note in the nursing documentation
