 ABSTRACT

This report is created as one of the requirements to fulfill Internship course. This report
describe about the writers’ experience as Web Programmer at PT Dirgantara Indonesia in
Departemen Sistem Keuangan & Korporasi-IT4000. The scope of work includes web-
based development work that focused on developing the website. During the
implementation of internship, student is involved to help the work of some web- based
application projects such as Risk management system. With student’s involvement in
internship on some projects, students can provide assistance in developing the website as
the requirement of project with PHP programming language, and MySQL database .

INTRODUCTION

I.I Background

At the beginning in this internship program at PT Dirgantara Indonesia, I was

placed at Departemen Sistem Keuangan & Korporasi-IT4000, the Departement that
handled projects by several clients that demanding to create the software project in finance
department,also work for input & update the data stored to the database system.
During internship, the writer became a solo worker to develop one projects. When
necessary, worker can ask help to some of staff to help in developing their project.

I.2 Formulation of Problems

Creating Risk Management System Website application, which is This website

helps the Departement employees to maintain & manage the risk of the company, to
support the work risk management system, so that it is digitized, reported, managed more
easily in the form of a website included Add Risk,Edit Risk and many more..

I.3 Objectives

Completed create risk management system website front end.

I.4 Benefits
1. Gaining working experience in the BUMN company that will
be useful later on.
2. Learning the PT Dirgantara Risk Management System process
Applications that required to be learned.
3. Deepen my view in the programming PHP Language & MYSQL.

I.5 Time,Workplace and execution of internship

1. Time

Internship activities is carried out at PT. Dirgantara Indonesia office from 27th
of June 2019 until the13th of August 2019. All employees start work at 8 am,
and end at 5 pm, but for the internship activities end at 4 pm, and the internship
cannot be remotely.

THEORITICAL BASIS

II.1 Company background

PT Dirgantara Indonesia (Persero), also known as PTDI is one of the indigenous

aerospace companies in Asia with core competences in aircraft design and
development, aircraft structure manufacturing, aircraft production, and aircraft
services for both civilian and military of light and medium aircraft.
Since established in 1976, as a state owned company in Bandung, Indonesia,
PTDI has successfully developed and grown its capability as an aerospace
industry.
In the field of aircraft manufacturing, PTDI has been producing various types of
aircraft, such as CN235 for civil or military transport, Maritime Surveillance
Aircraft, Maritime Patrol Aircraft and Coast Guard aircraft. In total, PTDI has
delivered nearly 400 aircrafts to 50 operators worldwide.

PHP

PHP (recursive acronym for PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor) is a widely-used open source general-
purpose scripting language that is especially suited for web development and can be embedded
into HTML.

MySQL

MySQL is the world's most popular open source database. With its proven performance,
reliability and ease-of-use, MySQL has become the leading database choice for web-based
applications, used by high profile web properties including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Yahoo!
and many more.

INTERNSHIP IMPLEMENTATION

RESULT

III.1 Scope of work

The scope of work performed in PT Dirgantara Indonesia is create an

application website , by using PHP language & MySQL database for Project
Risk Management System.

III.2 Work activities

III.2.1 Problem description

During internship, the writer became a solo worker to develop one
projects. When necessary, worker can ask help to some of staff to help in
developing their project.
III.2.2 Implementation process
The writer is involved in the developement a web projects. The projects
is RMS. RMS stands for Risk Managemen System. Project RMS is a
website project for Departemen Planning. This website helps the
Departement employees to maintain & manage the risk of the company,
to support the work risk management system, so that it is digitized,
reported, managed more easily in the form of a website

included Add Risk,Edit Risk and many more. The requirement of this
website is by using PHP programming language for back-end and use
HTML, CSS and also JavaScript for front-end and MySQL for the
database.
 III.3 Work of internship

III.3.1 RMS (Risk Management System)

In RMS Project, writer did running program by using XAMPP application, that for
running the program language, and add/edit database.

Kontek Manjemen Risiko page is a page that for uploading a document that will be save
in database. The Document included is KPI, POSDES, and KRITERIA RISIKO. The
document can be in PDF , WORD , EXCEL.

Penilaian Risiko is a Page that for Downloading / Monitoring the data, the data is the
one that uploaded in page Kontek Manajemen Risiko. In this page also for add Risiko
which mean add new data risiko and user can search directly the data and also edite the
data.

FINAL

IV.1 Conclusion

The conclusion obtained from internship in PT. Dirgantara Indonesia are:

1) Assigned tasks can be done in accordance with the requirements.
2) Technically, project has not be done 100% , because there is some expert
things that can’t be done by writer , it can be done with staff the company
(back end).
3) Writer get a lot of experience of working, how we implement the source code
and deploy into a website, manage a database and more. Also the discipline of
work.

IV.2 Suggestion

Based on experience of the writer during internship, writer provide suggestion as

follows:
1) It’s nice to work with PT Dirgantara Indonesia because it’s such large
company,and you can sense that it’s the real daily company.
2) The work in PT Dirgantara is just monotone and boring for the internship, just
like studying in school, you go there in the morning do some work after the
outing hour, and go home. You cannot bring your phone to the office, and also
u didn’t get the internet access.
