Equipment for Size Reduction

 SINGLE TOGGLE JAW CRUSHER AND DOUBLE TOGGLE JAW CRUSHER

It is widely used for primary or secondary crushing operation. It is capable of


crushing hard materials such as ores, stones etc. Both of these crushers have a fixed jaw
and a swinging jaw. The single toggle has fewer shafts and bearings and only one toggle
(bottom of the swinging jaw to a fixed point at the back). In double toggle, the swinging
jaw moves like a swinging door that is hinged at the top.

 HAMMER CRUSHER

Crushes the feed by high speed impact of the rotating hammer. It is capable of
crushing hard materials due to the large reduction ratio. It is used for safe crushing of
materials containing silica over 15%

 SINGLE ROLLCRUSHER

Suitable for primary or secondary crushing operation. It is used to crush brittle


materials like coal, mine refuse, shale, slate, etc. It provides a crushing ratio of up to 6:1.

 CRUSHING ROLL (DOUBLE ROLL CRUSHER)

Materials are crushed between two rolls (smooth or toothed). It has a reduction
ratio up to 1:4. It is used as a fine grinder for soft materials.

 SWING HAMMER MILL

Mainly used for secondary size reductions. It pulverizes materials from first size to
under 10mm size. The size distribution of the pulverized products can be adjusted by
adjusting the screen bar gaps. The main mechanism is to hit the falling feed with a rotating
hammer to pulverize the feed.

 HAMMER SHREDDER

Function and structure are identical to the Swing Hammer Mill. It can be used to
shred waste paper, wooden chips, and other waste materials. One of its application is to
shred waste materials for recycling

 DISINTEGRATOR

It is used to disintegrate agglomerated powdery materials. It is used to powderized


large solids that can disintegrate easily. The machine is charged with liquid. Large solids
that are fed will be reduced repeatedly by the rotor tips due to the centrifugal force inside.
The process is usually a batch process
 PAN GRINDER

The feed are smashed between two horizontally revolving rollers and a fixed pan.
It is suitable for crushing soft and brittle materials on a large scale.

 BALL MILL

Materials are ground in a rotating cylindrical chamber by the impact of the agitated
balls. It is used since old times for fine grinding operation. The grinding media or the ball
can be made up of chrome steel, stainless steel, ceramic, or rubber.

 TUBE MILL

Mainly used for grinding operation of various materials from soft to hard. Generally
operates in a closed circuit system combined with a classifier. Consists of revolving
cylinders that contains a number of hard balls. The ratio of length to diameter of the
chamber of the Tube Mill is larger than a Ball Mill.

 ROD MILL

Steel bars are inserted as the grinding media instead of the steel balls. It is used
to avoid over grinding of raw materials. The design is identical to the Ball Mill and Tube
Mill.

 MS Roller Mill (Ring Roller Mill)

Materials are ground between several rotating rollers and Bull-Ring by utilizing the
centrifugal force of the rollers revolving around the center column. An Air Classifying
Device positioned above the grinding chamber uses an exhaust fan system to select
particles for the Cyclone Collector.

 NEW MICROCYCLOMAT

High Frequency Vibration caused by a High Speed Air Vortex inside the equipment
reduces the size of the material. Product size can be easily regulated by adjusting the
revolutions (RPM) and suction air volume. It is used for milling cereals and other
vegetable matter due to Low Heat Generation inside the equipment.

 OTHER SIZE REDUCTION MACHINES

There are many types of size reduction machines that is not mentioned above and
some of them are Gyratory Crusher, Blake Type Jaw Crusher, Roll Jaw Crusher, Cone
Crusher, Rotary Fine Crusher (Coffee Mill), Crushing Screw (Schneckle Muhle), Edge
Runner Mill (Fret Mill), Conical Ball Mill, and etc.
