 Map the locations of earthquakes and volcanoes around the world.
 Describe the pattern of distribution of earthquakes and volcanoes.
 Explain the relationship between the location of earthquakes and volcanoes.

Materials:

 world map with latitude and longitude

 red and blue pens
 ruler
Procedures:

1. Using the information for Earthquake & Volcano’s latitude and longitude, plot the
location of each volcano on the world map using your blue pen to draw a small
triangle.
2. Plot the locations of each earthquake on the world map and use your red pen to mark
a square on each earthquake location.
3. Use the back page of the world map to answer the guide questions.
