ABSTRACT

The study determines the efficiency of architecture students of the University of

the Cordilleras in using computer aided design. The study emphasizes the

technological literacy in terms of computer aided design drafting of the architecture

students in the campus. Moreover, it aims to address why architecture students of the

University of the Cordilleras has a need to reconfigure their design presentation from

manual drafting to the use of computer aided design in some point of their curriculum.

The researchers conducted surveys, and literature reviews related to the use of computer

aided design in the academe. This study presents strategies and methods to measures

the efficiency of architecture students in the use of computer aided software.

Furthermore, this study provides an evaluation and recommendations if the use of

computer aided drafting enhances the efficiency and creativity of the students.
