Tata STRIVE, is a group wide skill development initiative which aims to develop Employability, Entrepreneurship and

community Enterprise capabilities in youth across the country. This initiative involves mobilizing youth (18 – 35 years) from
under-served communities, training them on demand driven vocational skills along with integrated life-skills to empower
them for a brighter future. Tata STRIVE is engaged with various State Governments, NGOs and Corporates in implementing
projects of scale.

Role Change Leader

Designation Facilitator(Employability Skills)

Openings -

Trains students on Life Skills, Employability Skills and IT Literacy Skills in Government ITIs
while ensuring continuous improvement of quality of training programs leading to the
Objective
outcome of more employable students and better functioning of ITI’s aligned to the
‘New ITI’ Mission, Vision, Values as per #Skilled in Odisha

Program Management:
• Deliver Employability Skills, the Tata STRIVE way including improving
communication skills, financial and digital literacy
• Adhere to the SOP and session schedule as prepared and agreed with the Head
of the Institution & DTET & Tata STRIVE
• Conduct personality development sessions, bridge programs as required from
time to time
• Conduct coaching sessions with learners individually or in groups as per SOP.
• Promoting Inquiry Based, Project Based and Activity Based Learning.
• Ensures completion of group projects as assigned to learners and increases
effective learner.
• Document and Report key data and metrics as per SOP
• Deliver and continuously improve facilitation in session delivery
• Collate and share feedback about the content used in training.
Major Deliverables • Ensure better enrolment numbers and improvement in attendance in ITI by
participating in various activities carried by the institution
• Track attendance of learners coming to the class and implement strategies to
increase attendance
• Work closely with the Project Manager to facilitate decisions necessary for
program delivery
• Multi-task activities to ensure delivery as per documented processes of the
Project
• Plan and execute strategies to ensure successful implementation of learning and
quality projects.
• Prioritizes tasks/activities keeping the end objective in mind.
Stakeholder Management:
• Effectively communicate expectations to different stakeholders in a timely and
clear fashion
• Conduct regular meeting with principals and other ITI Training staff on the
progress and ask for support wherever required
• Adhere to processes before and after the meeting with stakeholders like
sending out the MoM after the meeting, sharing a ppt before the meeting and
the like.
• Support Principal, TO’s and other stakeholders during critical activities like ITI
rating, STAR grading, visits by external stakeholder, preparation pf learners for
skill competition etc. with due permission from your Project Manager.
• Share relevant ideas/opinions/observations during the meetings (internal and
external)
• Adhere to communication timelines and escalate when required
• Build connects with Industry to ensure better placement ratio
• Periodic interaction with relevant stakeholders to increase placement
percentage.
• Arrange guest lectures as an endeavour to make learners ready for job.
• Communicate with both internal and external stakeholders on an ongoing basis
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation
and presentations;
• Build, develop and grow relationships vital to the success of the project.

Working in Teams
• Work effectively across multiple teams within ITI and Tata STRIVE eco-system
• Make & Deliver promise by actively participating in team meeting

Change Management:
• Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities in the
ITI.
• Manage events in ITIs where external stakeholders are involved
• Identify and manage anticipated resistance to achieve common goals.
• May act in a number of roles – data gatherer, trainer, consultant, facilitator or
coach
Monitoring and Quality Management:
• Document all the updates, processes, achievement, milestones, risks, incidence
for reviews, updates to stakeholders and creation of various reports at different
stages of the project.
• Ensure data completeness and data accuracy on the respective
applications/systems used in a timely manner.
• Understand classroom delivery score from the mentor/project manager and
work towards improving the same.
• Seek feedback on classroom delivery, LearnX and other processes from
respective stakeholder as a part of continuous learning.
• Attend learning session arranged at Tata STRIVE and also other sources as a part
of capability building.
