TAGKAWAYAN DISTRICT 2 RESEARCH COMMITTEE

I. Introduction
The Tagkawayan District 2 (TD2) Research Management Committee of the 4th Congressional District of the Division of Quezon
commits itself in achieving and promoting quality education through research. It is anchored on the vision and mission of the department
and upholds its core values.
The management group is led by individuals working together as part of a research community to improve ways to address the
issues concerning teaching-learning process, school projects and stakeholders’ participations to better serve the learners.
The management committee was institutionalized to motivate researchers in the district to engage in shared knowledge and
attempt to solve problems and improve professional practices in their schools in upholding the goals and objectives of Project LIGHTS
(Leading Individuals to a Greater Height of Teamwork and Sources)

II. Vision of the District on Research

Tagkawayan District 2 Research Management Committee envisions itself to be the center research excellence in the 4th
Congressional District of the Division of Quezon through collaboration and partnership. It shall uphold and demonstrates the highest
ethical standard and professional values in research and leadership set by the Department of Education. It shall inculcate to its members
a research culture community that is humane, just and output-driven.

III. Mission of the District on Research

In order to attain the vision of the Tagkawayan District 2 Research Management Committee, the following mission statement is
formulated:

To promote and practice a research community that is God fearing, law abiding, inspiring, committed, innovative, collaborative,
and conforming to ethical and professional values to achieve culture of research excellence in the district.

IV. General Objectives of the District on Research

1. To efficiently and effectively manage the offices through teamwork and collaboration
2. To enhance partnership and collaboration with the different stakeholders within the district
3. To empower the planning and research committee through FTA engagement
4. To create school-based action research in every school in the district
