Select
 What standards or LOs were being addressed in the lesson? - Learn another new
vocabulary about Animals grows.
-Students will make poster using flint, A3 paper and plates to make design about Animals grow.
How did you cater for learners with special needs, and for differentiation? In 2-A we don’t have a
special need students. For students I differentiation the activities by the academic level of
students.
How did you use positive reinforcement? Methods? For what? They worked in pairs in the poster
the students who is worked hard and quite I give them starts.
How did you sequence or scaffold activities so that they built gradually towards the learning
objectives?
I sit with my MST and we share the activities to gather and we discussed special for emerging
students and we thinks about the poster activities if its fit their level.

Overall aim and context of the lesson (that is, describe the lesson’s place in the unit of work. What
did students need to know before today’s LOs were addressed? What topic comes next and how did
today’s lesson prepare students for that?)

In the second lesson we took about define each animals environments, so I asked students questions
for example where the shark lived and they answered in the ocean. So for the new lesson we take
about animals grow and I should them a video to understand and I told them today we will create a
poster about animals grow.

Describe
Who is the lesson for? Grade 2-A boys and girls.
Where did the lesson take place? It was in the science classroom. It takes place firstly in the
carpet to introduce and explain for them the lessons and the activity then I send them in
their three groups depend on the level. In the end of the lesson they sit in the carpet to do
the Exit ticket.
What were you aiming to achieve in your lesson? I try to achieve the management of classroom by
using timer to finish the poster and to be organizes.
What experiences did you provide to the students to help them to achieve your aims for them?
Using timers between modeling and activity so each two students in different group will work
together, Also each two students have their own materials in their poster to create a nice poster
to present in the next class.
Analyze
Were students excited, always occupied, and remained on task during the lesson? The excited
thing that students like to do hand on activities instead of writing in the book.
Why do you think the students responded the way that they did? I showed them video about the
adult and young animals and they were engage to learn about animals and I bring for them the
materials to let them crate own poster. They all responded to me because they were
enthusiastic and they understand their activity because when I teach them they focused and
listening.

How well did your teaching relate to the students’ prior understanding?
In grade 1 student are learning about animals in science subject. I connected the science
content to creating poster using materials. I found that this was effective, because the students
were able to use the information’s from the science lesson to. And teacher should assess their
students during doing their poster for example asks students where the adult animals? This way
it easy for the teacher to know the students ability and if they understanding. This supports the
thoughts of Elisa who states that " assess your students’ prior knowledge and skills”(Elisa, 2016)

Appraise
Explain the nature of the experience from the students’ perspective. I showed them video about
the adult and young animals and they were engage to learn about animals and I bring for them
the materials to let them crate own poster. They all responded to me because they were
enthusiastic and they understand their activity because when I teach them they focused and
listening.
Did your lesson meet your teaching goals? Use your students’ performance on the end of lesson
assessment as support (Give proof in your portfolio)
Yes its achieved my goals because the students finish on time the poster also I did assess the
students during they worked in pairs and I did for each students summative assessments.

Transform
How might you enhance student learning of this lesson in the future?
What are the implications for your professional practice of helping students to enhance their
learning in this particular way? (i.e. what skill will you have to develop or learn? What professional
development will you have to undertake?)
And In future lessons, Bring for students different tools and materials like make a carton and
story about animal grow. Although, flexibility adaptability and ability to manage multiple
assignments at the same time because in grade 2 we have two group of low ability, so I should
to help them while they did the poster.
