Mathematical equations
A =area of crack
R=radius of crack=4.75mm
V = volume of crack
V=volume
Deflection = 2.5mm
Putting the values of these parameters in the Dunkerleys empirical formulae we have
F=0.0150186 Hz

Result and comparison
From simulation the result shows that there is total deflection of around 3mm for the frequency
of 0.0150186. but he value concluded from the theoretical calculation were deflection of 2.5 mm
corresponding to frequency of 0.0150186.
Relative error
ǀ𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑜𝑟𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑐𝑎𝑙𝑣𝑎𝑙𝑢𝑒 −𝑜𝑏𝑠𝑒𝑟𝑣𝑒𝑑_𝑣𝑎𝑙𝑢𝑒ǀ
Relative_error= 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑜𝑟𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑐𝑎𝑙_𝑣𝑎𝑙𝑢𝑒
ǀ2.5−3ǀ
Relative_error= 2.5
Relative_error=0.2
Reason
Difference is due to the application of load we have not applied loads accurately so there is error
in the observation.
