OF MALAYSIAN QUALIFICATIONS MQF five clusters of learning outcomes: FRAMEWORK (MQF) i. Knowledge and Understanding; ii. Cognitive Skills; Quality assurance (QA) is carried out primarily to iii. Communication Skills + 6 principles on Governance d. Digital Skills + 11 principles on QA processes e. Numeracy Skills + 4 principles on relationship between the QA f. Leadership, Autonomy and Body and TVET Providers Responsibility iv. Personal and Entrepreneurial Skills; and v. Ethics and Professionalism TEACHING STAFF must be certified teaching competencies TVET CURRICULUM AND DELIVERY + industry experience in-service – one month industrial attachment 60% - 70% practical components including for every two years industry exposure and attachments
STUDENT ASSESSMENT FACILITIES
up to 100% continuous assessment may contract up to 40% of the equipments and up to 90% practical assessment facilities required for the delivery of the (subjected to level of studies requirement) programme with suitable partners
ENTRY REQUIREMENT QA TVET COORDINATION
TVET Articulation Joint Technical Committee to coordinate TVET Level 4 MQF can progress to Bachelor Policies encourage to remain in the TVET pathway till establishment of TVET Pool of Assessors diploma for maximum benefit can be registered in the Malaysian TVET providers to design programme - Qualifications Register (MQR) provide seamless articulation
