SEMI-DETAILED LESSON PLAN IN ENGLISH VIII

I. OBJECTIVES

At the end of the lesson, the student will be able to:


a. identify the characters in the story,
b. determine the tone, mood, technique, and purpose of the author by telling different stories of each
character; and
c. express appreciation on how God created us human.

Topic: Hands of the Blacks by Luis Bernardo Honwana

Materials: visual aid, copy of the reading text

III. PROCEDURES

Instructions: The teacher will read a story entitled “The Creation of God” and listen carefully.
Recall and retell it in your own version in Filipinos.

Instructions: Read “ The Story of the Different Characters” and retell the story of each character
using the informational frames.
