Objective:
1. To study how and under what circumstances did PolyOne Global changed PolyOne
India’s reporting center from Chinese Headquarter to European Headquarter
2. To understand how they manage to maintain a horizontal working culture despite of
having a formalized hierarchical structure to develop better coordination among all
the departments for gaining maximum efficiency
3. To analyze the reasons for the structural changes that they made with their Sales,
Marketing and Business Development department and their Change Management
strategy
Plan of Action:
1. Understanding the global structure and culture at PolyOne with the help of some
known connections
2. Interviewing some employee from HR department to get to know the challenges
they faced while communicating the structural changes and how they formed their
Change Management strategy
3. Interviewing some Regional Sales and Business Development Managers to
understand their view on this structural change, what were the challenges before
and how they adapted to this change
