Scale Ninja Guidelines

The goal is to get your name on the wall with all the other Red belts before you.

In order to obtain a belt, you must play all the scales required for that belt level in one sitting for a
director. All scales must be played at the required metronome marking and with a metronome. You will
have multiple chances to obtain your Scale belt. We will sometimes have a scale Karate Day during class
where you can signup for a 3 Minute Time Slot. Or you will be able to come to the director if they are
free/available before school, after school, during lunch.

BUT…

In order to be able to play for the belt you have to have passed off your required section of music.

If you make your name on the wall, you will be allowed to come to our monthly Pizza Party. The number
of pieces of Pizza you receive is DIRECTLY PROPORTIONAL to the Belt you are. So for example, if you are
a white belt, level 1, you receive one piece of Pizza. IF you are a level 2, you get two slices of pizza. IF you
make it to level 8, then you get a WHOLE Pizza to yourself!
