Lesson title for the day: Subject-verb agreement, Noun-adjective agreement, and
Perifrases

I. Objectives
1. Construct 5 sentences that describes a famous person from any hispanic
country following the grammar rules of subject-verb and noun-adjective
agreement.
2. Construct a sentence with perifrases on what they want to do on a trip to Spain.

II. Topics
1. Subject-verb agreement
2. Noun-adjective verb agreement
3. Periphrases

1. Powerpoint Presentation
2. Video

IV. Teaching procedure

DAY 1

Prayer
Review
 Answer together the homework on irregular verbs. (“Volar” by Alvaro Soler)
 Conjugate the irregular verbs together with the class.

Lesson
 Discuss how to form sentences by mastering the subject-verb agreement and
noun adjective agreement with the class.
 Show a short video of two people describing a person on the street.
 Check their understanding by having the class translate what the people in
the video are saying.

Application
 After the discussion, have the class work by pairs to make 5 sentences
describing famous people in Hispanic countries.
 Have their classmate guess who it is based on the description.

Conclusion
 Questions and verifications from the class.
 Reminders: 1x1 photo for the seatplan and short quiz next meeting.

DAY 2
Prayer
Review
 Give a short quiz and review the answers together.

Lesson
 Discuss how to make sentences using perifrases in expressing informal future
tense.
 Show a short video on Spain.
 Ask questions to check their understanding.

Application
 Have the class imagine that they are traveling to Spain.
 Give them 3 minutes to prepare their sentences.
 One by one, have them express what they want to do on their trip through a
game.
 If the student cannot express using perifrases after 30 seconds, he/she is out
of the game.
 Continue until everyone has spoken or only one is left.

Conclusion
 Questions and verifications from the class.
 Reminders:
