DHA License Renewal:
 License Renewal is Annual
 Renewal can be within 3 months of license expiry date
 Required Documents
o Emirates ID Front & Back
o Passport
o Visa
o Photo

NB: Send the documents as separate attachments to Dr. Ashraf Swidan / Ms. Jitha Suresh

DHA License Card:

 Collect Renewed License from Society of Engineers within 2 weeks of receiving email.
 Staffs Should Carry Valid License Card along with Staff ID
 For Card Lost,
o Request for Duplicate Card Online (Sheryan)
o Make the required payment
o Inform the coordinators

CME and License Validity:

 CME Hours required to maintain the license
o Requirement as per category

 CME/CNE certificates acquired from January 2019 till December 2019 will only be considered
while calculating the 2019 requirements (Last date 31/12/2019).
 If the applicant overachieves their CPD targets for the year, they are eligible to carry
forward 10 CPD points to the following year.
 If the applicant underachieves their CPD targets for the year, then the CPD points must
be made up in the following year.
  Only CPD topics aligned with the work requirement of the healthcare professionals shall
be considered for licensing purposes. ( 70% of the CPD-Points requirements from the
area of the professional specialty and 30% of general professional development).
 Only 30% of the CPD points required per year can be gained from the online CPD
programs.
 If the yearly CPD targets is not completed, the license will be kept on hold, until the CPD
requirements met and updated in Sheryan.

Steps to upload the CME Certificates in Sheryan

1. Login to Sheryan Account
2. Click Professionals

3. Click Update CPD points

4. Click Update CPD points

5. Click Application Details

6. Complete required fields and Confirm

NB: Activity name as in Certificate and Upload certificate for the mentioned activity in
Upload Evidence.
 7. Click Terms & Conditions

Agree to the terms and conditions and confirm

8. Click Review Form

If all completed as required, it will appear like below

9. Click Submit

10. Repeat the same for Other Certificates
