Figure 112 MMU2 E/F 155 Configuration General

 Radio Terminal — The Radio Terminal under configuration

o Terminal ID — The name or id number of the Radio Terminal
o Activate Traffic — Activate licensed traffic.

By disabling traffic (clearing the check box), it is possible to configure

the radio terminal parameters without having all required licenses.
When enabling traffic, the system checks if there are any missing
licenses. See Section 6.3 for more information on how to work with
licenses.

o Modulation — Options for modulation of MMU2 E/F 155 are 16-QAM

or 128-QAM.

Note:
Modulation schemes other than C-QPSK requires a license. See Section 6.3
for more information on how to work with licenses.

o Capacity — Capacity of MMU2 E/F.

o Protection — Available protection options are 1+0, 1+1 Work or
1+1 Hot, see MINI-LINK TN R3 Technical Description.

Note:
Protection modes other than 1+0 requires a license. See Section 6.3 for more
information on how to work with licenses.

o Line Protection — Available line protection options are Unprotected,

SI High Pos, SI Low Pos, EEP and ELP.

11.50.2 Basic
Figure 113 MMU2 E/F 155 Configuration Basic Tab

 RAU — Names of RAUs that serve as either an unprotected or protected

terminal.
 Tx Freq. (MHz) — Transmitt frequency. It is adjusted in steps of 0,25 Mhz.
The drop-down slider can be used when the new frequency shall be increased
or decreased in larger increments than 0,25 Mhz.
 Rx Freq. (Mhz) — Receiving frequency. The receiving frequency matches
always the transmitted frequency of the far-end.
 Output Power Mode — Specifies how the output power is controlled.
o RTPC — The output power is set from a management application.
o ATPC — The output power is set automatically depending on the
received input power in the far-end RAU.
 Transmitter On — Selecting the check box turns the transmitter on. Clearing
the check box turns the transmitter off.
 View ATPC Capabilities — Shows the ATPC capabilities for all units in the
radio link.

11.50.3 Terminal

 Notifications — Enable/Disable notifications.

 Fade Notification Timer — Notifications for alarms caused by fading, with a
duration less than the specified time (0 - 1000 seconds, default 200 seconds)
are not sent. Only applicable for 1+1 configurations. Not shown for far-end
terminals.
 Far End ID — Specifies the expected identity of the Radio Terminal on the
other end of the radio link. If Radio ID Check is enabled, this identity must
match the identity of the far-end terminal.

11.50.4 MMU

Figure 115 MMU2 E/F 155 Configuration MMU Tab

 MMU — Name of MMUs.

 Pos — Position in the AMM.
