Treating Cancer:

“Killing cancer with living medicine”

(Proposing a Guyabano plantation)

Summary

Cancer is the major health problem that has been a cause of loss

among people around the world this is due to the uncontrollable developing

of abnormal cells all over the human body. Many people are searching for an

alternative method in treating cancer aside from different treatments. That’s

why we proposed a treating cancer project with the use of Guyabano,

containing substance that helps in fighting cancer and at the same time

affordable for everyone.

The support of local government is needed in order to create a Guyabano

plantation then produce a food supplement and achieve the main goal of

this project which is treating cancer.

Background and Problem

Cancer is a serious disease caused by uncontrollable developing of

abnormal cells. This may be caused by lifestyle factors, family history in

which inheritance and genetics are included, exposures to certain viruses

and also environmental exposures. According to World Health Organization,

cancer is the leading cause of death worldwide that there is estimated 9.6

million deaths in year 2018. This only proves that this disease is very crucial

that needs to be resolve. There are many options in fighting cancer, we have

treatments such as surgery, chemotheraphy etc. But not all patient can

afford it, that’s why we prefer using natural resources specifically a

Guyabano (Annona muricata.) Because of its availability in many places,

health benefits and it is affordable. Furthermore, Guyabano (Annona

muricata) is a plant that can be found in many parts of tropical and

subtropical parts of the world including some parts of the Americas, Asia

and Africa. This plant is very beneficial not only for those who already have

cancers but also for those who are trying to prevent it. Most parts are used

in traditional medications in treating various diseases and ailments. It also

contains substance that can help in fighting cancer. In connection to this,

we are proposing a Treating cancer project titled “Killing cancer with living

medicine” (Proposing a Guyabano plantation)

The figure above shows the production method.

First, this project will be done with the help of local government by

providing sufficient budget, area, equipment and human resources in

starting this project, Guyabano plantation. Second, the product that will be

provided by the Guyabano plantation will be collected and finally the

collected products will be develop as a food supplement.

The figure above shows the sources and expected expenses in preparing the

Guyabano plantation.
The area that will be used, will be provided by the Local Government. The

seedlings will be requested in the Department of agriculture. And the budget

for the project including the maintenance of the plantation and labor is

approximately 200,000.
