Differentiated Learning
This is the idea that teachers can change up the type
of presentation that they are using to teach the
students. It is the use of the same material for all the
students but just a different way of learning. Such as
showing a video or slideshow
Digital Citizenship
This is being able
to use the internet
safely and and
effectively. It
shows that you
know how to use
technology well.
Blended Learning
The method of teaching that gives students the
traditional classroom instruction while also using
online learning activities.
CMS: Content Management System
These are software or
web applications they
give you access to
post applications and
adds other editing
options.
MOOC: Massive Open
Online Courses
An online course that has all of its material on the
internet so that other students from all over the world
has access to these instructions as well. These gives
students and teachers to be able to communicate
with similar liking of subjects.
Digital Literacy
The process of being able to critically think and use
information you have created to while using the
digital technology.
Flipped Classroom
This is when teachers work
with students directly
instead of teaching a
lesson the whole class
time. It is basically helping
a student one-to-one in a
way.
Gamification

Taking an ordinary lesson or activity and making it


into something more fun such as a game.
LMS: Learning Management System
This is software that
tracks how a student is
learning in their progress
within a system. This is
also a way to get
students to become more
engaged.
M-Learning This is any type of
learning that is
available on a mobile
device such as a
laptop tablet, or
cellphone. This is can
be done in many
places.
Edupunk
Someone who feels as though they can learn on
their own without needing a traditional structure. This
is where the idea of DIY comes in (Do it yourself).
OER: Open Educational Resource
This is a free easy
access aid to help
students with subjects
they be struggling with. It
is online with many
resources.
SAMR: Substitution Augmentation
Modification Redefinition
This is to put non technical tools with the use of
technology. Being able to use things that are not
normally used with technology to be used with
technology.
Student Response System

A program that allows the teacher to ask a question


then students respond with the system. This is just
another way of doing a quiz.
TPACK: Technological Pedagogical
Content Knowledge
This can use the idea of a
Venn diagram but then add
the idea of technology into
it. This is to do stuff that
has pedagogical,
technology and content to
all work together.
