5 Incredible Tips to Save a Story on Instagram

Instagram, tries to implement new features every now and then. One of them is the
ability to see who took a screenshot of your Instagram story. If you would like to be
able to take a screenshot without triggering this alert, this is your lucky day. Today,
we will share 5 tips on how to save an Instagram story without this happening.

Tip number 1

Android users are very lucky as things are very easy for them. If you open Google
Play Store and search for the StorySaver app, you will see that things could not get
easier.

Just download the app, open it, and log in with your Instagram account. Then, select
the story you want to save, and you will notice three new options at the top:

1. Repost

2. Save

3. Share

Hit Save and boom! The story is now on your phone.

Tip number 2

Did you know that Instagram now has a website? Honestly, this was a popular
demand and Instagram heard our prayers a while back.

Head on to Instagram.com and log in to your account from your computer. Now, just
open the story you wish to save and take a screenshot using your favorite software.

Tip number 3

The All-time classic method: Open your Instagram app and let the story of the user
that you wish to capture, to load. As soon as this is done, switch to airplane mode
and click on the story.

You can now take a screenshot of that story without any issues. Remember, you will
have to close the app and then switch off the airplane mode.
Tip number 4

Everyone has used Chrome at least once. Maybe you haven't noticed, though, that
you can install extensions to help you get a better user experience while browsing.

One of these extensions is IG Stories and here we will tell you how to install it.

Open chrome web store and search for IG Stories. Download the extension and let it
install. Once done, open Instagram's web page and click on the story you wish to
save. There, you will now have the "Download" option which allows you to
download a copy of the story on your computer. In case the story has small
segments there will also be a "Download All" option so you can download them at
once.

This option is available on PCs and Macs.

Tip number 5

It might sound funny, but this is a very obvious tip which many do not have in mind.

You can just use another phone to take a photo of your screen while the story
appears on it. Of course, you will have to use a phone with a good camera if you
want to have a quality image.

This might be a simple tip, but we do not recommend it as the quality depends
entirely on the phone you are using.
