Australia takes the following positions:
[1] It opposes adopting internet firewalls like China's that restrict information and censor criticism of the government, arguing this threatens citizens' privacy and freedom.
[2] While skeptical of unilateral rejection of international organizations, it believes isolationism could lead to conflict and countries should be free to decide their own futures as long as they maintain relations.
[3] It is against separatist movements, believing they should respect sovereign states and borders, though states should also respect minorities' cultures to discourage purely political separatist ambitions.

GDP: 1,323 trillion USD (2017) On the topic “Asserting national sovereignty and security through internet firewalls following China’s model “ This kinds of methods put in danger the sovereignty and the freedom of the people. It is well known that China is using this tool just for keeping its population under control. Developed and cerebral states would never agree on such a thing. Australia’s point is clear, refusing this kind of tools because: - The private life of the people would be in great danger - The governments can decide which news they can present to the people, propaganda and indoctrination possibly being on the rise again. - The tool would just censor every bad decision made by the government , and it will also stop any possible opposition movements (protests, peaceful manifestations )
On the topic “Addressing the threats of national
unilateralism as rejection of international organisations and standards”
Australia’s position regarding this topic is a sceptic one ,
bearing in mind the fact that there are many international standars who are very irrational, but still thinking about the fact that isolationism could possibly emerge into military conflicts . The international organisations such as the UN should apply sanctions to these states who tend to isolate themselves and indoctrinate their own people with the fact that everyone wants their bad. Every country should have the right to decide their future for themselves. If for example Poland and Hungary tend to refuse the LGBTQ manifestations and rights, this is clearly a wish of the majoritary population. Countries should be free to do what their citizens want , but still cooperate to mentain the international relations good.
On the topic „Dealing with separatist movements
worldwide while enforcing national integrity”
Sepparatist movements are very common nowadays. They
originate from ethnical and cultural ideas different from the ones of the state they are living in. Australia’s position is totaly against these„countries” . Their ethincity and their culture should be recognised, but they have to addapt to the fact that they are living in a sovereign state and respect its borders. The sovereign states should respect the culture of its national minorities, and these currents would move away, because they are most of the times pure political ambitions created by the ones who want some public political jobs and want to rule someone for no real ethnical reason.
