Marketing Opportunities
Print magazine
Research has proven that display advertising is still the leading form of advertising
in terms of “stickiness”. In other words, it makes the most impact and remains in the
readers mind the longest, over any other form of advertising.

Advertisers in Global Solar Technology have a unique opportunity to increase the

impact of their print advertising in the electronic edition by adding flash movement
to their advertisement or embedding video demonstrations for a small additional
premium.

Websites
www.globalsolartechnology.com is an international website, supported by
local language editions in China and India. Each website offers the
following promotions:

Banner advertisements
Banners are accepted in a variety of sizes and can be dynamic (using flash)
or simply flat, containing a strong message.

Video advertising
Video advertisements can be embedded into our Homepage (4 rotations)
and provide an excellent, high visibility opportunity on the front page of our website.

Video Sponsor Packages

Video Value Packages are offered at major trade shows around the world. Global Solar
Technology will make up a video advertisement to display on strategically located
monitors around these events, with literature pockets for your promotional materials
at the front. Sponsors videos are played between news items and other information
about the Conference/Exhibition.

Sponsors also receive branding on pre-show newsletters and an on-site interview or Product Showcase during the show. In
most cases, this will appear on Day Two at the show and will be available on the Show Central area for one year.

Text advertisements
Textual advertisements have been shown to produce a higher rate of click-thru’s than traditional banner ads, especially if they
are cleverly written and contain a technical hook to lure the reader to click for more information.

White papers
White papers offer an opportunity to educate readers on complex technologies, or where greater in-depth explanation is
required. Articles are rotated onto the Homepage and can be accessed in our Technical Article archive.

Webinars
Educate your audience using all the interactive features of the internet. Global Solar Technology will promote your live
webinar event through the magazine, website and newsletter products. The webinar engine enables you to make your
presentation using streaming audio, video and powerpoint. Additional features, such as polling and question boxes make this
a dynamic and interactive platform. Companies organising webinars also receive full contact details on all viewers attending
the event, or downloading the recording up to 12 months later.

Job Centre
A dynamic job site is available through our partnership with www.solarjobs.us. This busy platform links directly from www.
globalsolartechnolgy.com and provides a full range of services for both jobseekers and employers at extremely competitive
rates.

Newsletters
Newsletters are regarded as a “push” technology, as they are delivered to readers Inboxes every day. Every reader who clicks
on a news story is channelled through to the full story on our website. A range of banners and text-ad positions are available.

Exhibitions and Conferences

Global Solar Technology will exhibit and distribute bonus issues of the magazine at every major trade show and conference
around the world.
