Adeline recognized
Congressman Greg Gianforte created the
annual Montana Congressional Veteran
Commendation in 2017 to recognize
outstanding Montana veterans who have
honorably served our nation and our
communities. This past Veterans Day, in
which he spent his morning at the VFW
Fort Peck Post #3107 in Glasgow and
then attended the Veterans Day Program
held at the Glasgow High School, he
announced 27 recipients of the 2019
Montana Congressional Veteran
Commendation. Adeline Mitchell is one of
them, proudly wearing her United States
Navy cap at the Veterans Day Program as
she is a World War II Veteran. Gianforte
will highlight the recipients of the Montana
Congressional Veteran Commendation
in the U.S. House of Representatives.
At an upcoming ceremony, Gianforte will
present recipients with a commemorative
flag which was flown over the U.S.
Capitol on Veterans Day.
