province. Normally the jurisdiction of a High court is limited to its respective province. Article,199 of the constitution provides high court’s
power to issue orders or directions, where fundamental rights are involved, is discretionary and the Supreme Court can interfere only by granting
leave to appeal from the judgment of the high court. Article 199,gives to the High Court the jurisdiction to issue writs of prohibition, mandamus,
certiorari, habeas corpus and quo warranto.
