Introduction
The present simple is a verb tense of the present that is used to talk about
general truths that constitute habits, schedules or programs, customs and
routines of daily life.
It should be emphasized that sentences in the present simple are formed using
the base of the verb in its infinitive form. also remember that a verb in
infinitive is composed of two parts: the particle "to" and the base that is the
verb in the present.

Developing a paragraph in the English language, using simple sentences in

the present tense
I usually wake up at 5 ó clock. A few minutes later I gep up and take a
shower. Then I have breakfast and brush my teeth. Later I go to school. At
school I study different subject : math, history, etc. Then I have a break and
have lunch.

At 1 p.m. I go back home. When I arrive home I do my homework . Later I

wastch some TV. I play in the yard with my Friends and I have dinner.
After dinner I take a shower again, talk with my family and, at 9 ó clock, I
go to bed.
Simple sentences in the present time
1. My cousin paints the houses in his neighborhood
2. I wash my car on Saturdays
3. My family does not go to the church
4. We usually play tennis
5. She does not accept my decisión
6. My mother never watches TV in her room
7. The car is in the garaje
8. She is the prettiest woman in the world
9. The mouse hid in its burrow.
