Executive summary

The project work is pursued on Digital Marketing at Prestige Institute of Management


and Research. My internship is under taken at Raletta Technology on Digital
Marketing, Indore. The work is done under the guidance of Mr. Saksham Garg. and
Mr. Ishan Mishra. The work is about the knowledge of search engine optimization and
how it works.

I had given enough time to know and gather the knowledge about the company off-
page, on-page and social media marketing.

The main aim was to generate traffic on the website and increase domain authority I
was provided with account information of merrchant, I was doing social media posting
for their customers and other works. Company activities were one of the main reasons
to generate traffic. Main objective of the company is sale out their accounting software
and to connect with customer and earn more profit. I am very thankful to Mr. Ishaan
Mishra sir for providing me this opportunity.

Thus, it gave me opportunities to learn about the service of digital marketing. Raletta
helped me learning different techniques of search engine optimization which were bit
easier that helped me easily generate traffic online for the company.

INTRODUCTION
1.1. About the Industry

Digital marketing is any form of marketing products or services that involves electronic
devices. One of the big reason we are seeing digital marketing change so much is
because of adoption of new technologies. Marketing is positioning of offering better
than the competitors. The advantage of digital marketing is that we can track how our
ad is working. Is it worth or not. So it become very easy for us to promote our product
and services on digital marketing than traditional marketing.
The power of digital marketing allows geophysical barriers to disappear making all
consumers and businesses on earth potential customers and suppliers. It is known for
its ability to allow business to communicate and form a transaction anywhere and
anytime.

Search engine optimization (SEO):

SEO is the process of optimizing online content so that search engine likes to show it
as top of search results. SEO is process of getting traffic from free, editorial, and natural
search results from search engines like Google, yahoo, bing. Patience and content is
king of SEO

Basically there are two types of SEO:


1. On page SEO
2. Off page SEO
1. On page SEO: On page SEO means what’s inside website. It’s all about content
in website. Basically Google has it’s crawlers so whenever we register our
website in google these crawlers are roaming in depth of internet. On-page
refers to both the content and HTML source code of a page that can be
optimized, as opposed to off-page SEO which refers to links and other external
signals.

2. Off page SEO: Off page SEO refers to techniques your can use to improve
the position of a web site in the search engine results page (SERPs). Many
people associate off-page SEO with link building but it is not only that.

Search engine marketing (SEM): SEM is most effective way today to promote
product and services using paid advertisements that appears on search results pages.
This includes Google Adwords SEM gives advertisers opportunity for their ads to
appears alongside results of those quarries. These ads are known ad PPC ads. All ads
go through process known as ad auction before appearing alongside with search
results.

Content marketing: “Content is the king” in digital marketing industry. Content can
be in terms of image, text, video, etc. content marketing means engage in and every
spot of buyers journey. Here first we need to know who our buyers are. After that we
need to develop content and then promotion of content to potential audience.

Social media marketing: creating and sharing content on social media networks in
order to achieve Social media marketing, or SMM, is a form of internet marketing
that involves your marketing and branding goals. Social media marketing includes
activities like posting text and image updates, videos, and other content that drives
audience engagement, as well as paid social media advertising,

Social media marketing can help with number of goals, such as:

 Increasing website traffic

 Building conversions

 Raising brand awareness

Raletta Technology is premier IT Company. Its headquarter is situated in Indore.


Raletta has diversified internet product under one umbrella. The company basically is
into different kinds of digital marketing techniques.

DIGITAL MARKETING
Meaning:
Digital marketing is defined by the use of numerous digital tactics and channels to
connect with customers where they spend much of their time: online. From the
website itself to a business's online branding assets -- digital advertising, email
marketing, online brochures, and beyond -- there's a spectrum of tactics that fall under
the umbrella of "digital marketing."

The best digital marketers have a clear picture of how each digital marketing
campaign supports their overarching goals. And depending on the goals of their
marketing strategy, marketers can support a larger campaign through the free and paid
channels at their disposal.

A content marketer, for example, can create a series of blog posts that serve to
generate leads from a new ebook the business recently created. The company's social
media marketer might then help promote these blog posts through paid and organic
posts on the business's social media accounts. Perhaps the email marketer creates an
email campaign to send those who download the ebook more information on the
company. We'll talk more about these specific digital marketers in a minute.

1.3.1 History:

Raletta technology was established by 2 engineers in 2015 with initial capital of INR 1
Cr. It was registered as Raletta technology on April 2016. Providing the best IT services
and products to clients and consumers around the globe.
Raletta technology provides services in SEO, PPC, E-mail marketing, SMM, website
development, reputation marketing, content writing. Merrchant has two co-founders
who have limitless passion for technology and internet.
Founders core skills includes online marketing, SEO, SMM, e-commerce, financial
accounting and graphic designing.

● Have run an e-commerce website www.19againbrand.com in 2014.
● Dropped out of DEMONTFORT University, UK to start the e-commerce website.
● Stood first for Adobe premiere pro, while second for computer jingle at IPSE IT
FEST 2010, held at Mayo College.

Co-founder and COO. IT Engineer and expert in digital marketing.
● Runs IT Services firm, Ishantech for 7 years, before merging with Raletta. And has

● Holds B-tech degree IT from MIT Ujjain.
●Information technology specialist with technical expertise to the implementation,
monitoring, or maintenance of web technology and also, good expertise in field of
political advisory, political marketing, concerts and artist management.

Origin and growth of the company

Raletta Technology was formed in June 2016 and started operating in November 2016.
There are basically four ventures that the company is into: -

1. Merrchant: - Merrchant is an accounting software or suite which is company’s


only product that it has to offer to different business houses in and around the
city. This is surely the best accounting software that can come in every handy
for different businessmen and has been in the top charts since the very beginning
of it coming to the market.

2. Raletta Co-working: - this is another venture of the organization where the


company provides co-working space to different young professionals
throughout Indore. It has become one of the leading co-working spaces in
Indore. It started off in November with an offering capacity of 5 seats and has
currently grown on to 105 seats with advancement in infrastructure still under
the hood.

3. Digital Marketing: - Digital Marketing is the first and foremost work function
of the company as it has its clients that require Digital Marketing expertise
which the company has to offer. This company started from zero but has become
one of the best digital marketing agencies of the city within a time span of less
than a year.
4. Raletta toons: - They have recently launched their new product, entering into
animation and VFX world.

Company vision: -
Raletta technology’s vision is to be most trusted provider of IT services and products
that ensure the security and freedom of clients and businesses. As a group of like-
minded enthusiasts, they will define the future of technology and internet. They will
conduct themselves with integrity and live their company values, deliver superior
performance and foster an internal environment of innovation, collaboration, and trust.

Raletta’s roadmap starts with their mission, which is enduring. It declares their purpose
as a company and serves as the standard against which raletta weigh their actions and
decisions. To create an easily approachable IT company for clients and customers who
are not tech savvy as well as pro tech enthusiasts, to inspire moments of optimism and
happiness through their social media platforms and to create value and make a
difference by their innovative ideas, products and solutions.

3.1 Human Resource Department:

Human Resources (HR) are the department within a business that is responsible for all
things worker-related. That includes recruiting, vetting, selecting, hiring, on boarding,
training, promoting, paying and firing employees and independent contractors. HR is
also the department that stays on top of new legislation guising how workers need to
be treated during the hiring, working, and firing process.
HR is considered by many business strategists to be the most important of all company
resources. That’s because employees can gain new skills, thereby increasing the size of
a company’s competitive advantage overtime. Other resources simply don’t have that
capacity.

3.2 Sales Department:

Sales department is a division of business that is responsible of selling of products and


services. Raletta technology is more into digital marketing & has their own product
which is an Accounting Software “MERRCHANT”. The company has specific
products or services and – and it’s up to sales to sell those things. Sales department
develop relationships with customers and/or channel partners. They knock down the
doors, overcome objections, negotiate prices and terms and often work internally to be
sure their customer’s orders are filled.

3.3 Marketing Department:

A marketing department promotes your business and drives sales of its products or
services. It provides the necessary research to identify your target customers and other
audiences.
 Digital Marketing:
Digital marketing is a term used to describe the integrated marketing services
used to attract, engage and convert customers online. Digital marketing utilizes
multiple channels such as content writing, influencer marketing, SEO, social

media and online advertising to help brands connect with customers and
uncover performance of marketing programs in real-life.
 Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Social Bookmarking: Social bookmarking is a way for people to store, organize,


search, and manage “bookmarks” of web pages. Users save links to web pages that
they like or want to share, using a social bookmarking site to store these links. These
bookmarks are usually public, and can be viewed by other members of the site where
they are stored. Some popular social bookmarking sites:

2. Blog Commenting: Blog commenting is an essential procedure for interaction


between blogs, bloggers and blog readers. It is an action wherein visitors or
blog readers leave a comment to a blog post or article, reply to readers’
comments, or the author himself answers or replies to visitors questions and
comments. Blog commenting is a good way to exchange thoughts and
opinions about certain topic written as a blog post. But the comment should
be relevant to post so that author will approve comment so our aim in raletta
technology was to build high quality links on Do follow websites.

3. Info graphic submitting: info graphs submission in SEO simply means leaving
images related to your website in different image submission or sharing sites. Image
submission involves choosing the right image, file format, alternate text, and image
description.

gives you duplicate links and helps you to rank your website and blog a lot, it is

Classified submission is one of the most influential ways to let the world know your
business and services. It includes SEO strategies for websites promotion by driving
buyers and generating sales for products or services.

Competitor analysis is done by various SEO tools like Ubersuggest, MOZ, Mangools
where you have to paste your competitor’s posts link and do the same for your
organization. The main motive is to make your website visible on every page of internet
where your competitor posted it can be blog commenting, forum ppt or PDF sharing,
classified or making a profile over different website
