Our overheating Earth

Global warming has been happening for years now and it has been

getting worse as the years are progressing. The world has not been caring

about all the effects that will happen from global warming. The Earth and the

things on it are going to make dramatic changes because of all the gases

humans are releasing into the atmosphere. The United States is in second

place for the cause of global warmin g while China is in the lead, But the

state that you live in should not change if you should care about Global

warming or not.

Global Warming has been overlooked by people for years now and it is really

harming the Earth and the lives on it . While our Earth looks perfect and unharmed, the

side effects of global warming are putting the future of the next generation and the Earth

at risk. Everything that is on the Earth now may be gone and only a few may survive

through the change in weather and the change in the food chain. The population of

animals are already declining like the polar bears because of the Artic ice melting and

the Polar bear not knowing what to do next. The Earth and all of the lives on it are

vulnerable and are some what Fragile. Once things are completely destroyed and

extinct then there is no changing the past and trying to bring back what has already
been destroyed. Extinction has been happening for years now, but not because of

Global Warming. Many animlas now are only at risk of extinction because of global

warming but thoughs animals will soon go away if this continues.

The Earth’s temperature is on a rise and has been on a rise for a long

time now. The temperature rise also means sea level rises at first then it may

decrease sea level that may prevent flooding. “The past 18 years have been

the warmest on record since the 1850s when measurements began,

(DiChristopher2018)”. Our Earth’s temperature has been rising for a long

time now, and this shows that people have not b een caring for years now

about global warming. The Earth has always been heating up, but it is now

heating up at an abnormal temperature and rate.

The animals that we have all loved and have grown up seeing since we

were little will be instinct. We have n ot only destroyed our planet but living

things lives. Things like Coral and Polar bears are getting hit hard by the

global warming impacts/changes. These Living things are so helpless and

won’t survive due to a change in their climate or region. They may r un out of

food or the placed where they made home is now destroyed. “The report,

from the UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), finds that

many life-forms are moving north or into deeper waters to survive as their

habitats shift (DellAmore 2016)”. All living things should not have to move or

change their behavior because of something life threatening. If a living thing

feels that they must make changes to their lives because of something
occurring, then that is an automatic sign that something is seriously wrong

and needs to be stopped.

If scientists have constantly been trying to warn people, then the

problem that they are trying to warn people about is very serious and needs

to be fixed quickly. ” There is great debate among many people, and

sometimes in the news, on whether global warming is real (some call it a

hoax). But climate scientists looking at the data and facts agree the planet is

warming (Serreze2019)”. The more people debate about climate change the

more they are going to let it slip by and may cause it to become delayed for

scientists to help fix the problem of Global warming. Scientist are usually

correct so if they think that something needs to be corrected then they

should be able to do their job and help with the problem ahead of time or to

help prevent the problem at the least.

The people that do want to help fix global warming are constantly

asking questions of what they can do to help with the problem. One question

arouse that asked if we planted trees, could we fix the problem that we

started. The author of an article answered this question and found that just

planting trees would be much harder than s aid. “ You would need to grow

essentially Amazon rainforest on about 50 percent of the entire surface of

the land (Hall2019)”. Planting trees only in general would yes take up too

much time and space but that is not the only thing that is needed in order t o

help stop Global Warming. The people that do ask questions about the
solutions to global warming solutions are only a very few and many more

people are needed to contribute to the global Warming solution.

Not only is our planet and the living things on our planet at risk but also the

oceans are at risk. The Ocean is at risk because of the oil spills, pollution, over fishing,

and all of the other global warming causes like Gases being released into the

atmosphere. The Ocean is what mostly covers the Earth and it is one of the needs for

the human race to have in order to live.

“The ocean has always been one of the earth’s most crucial natural deterrents to global

warming. As a pool of water that covers over seventy percent of the world’s surface, the

ocean is an enormous carbon drain. Like a forest, it sucks in lots of our carbon

emissions and uses it to sustain its ecosystem (Kat2019)”. The Ocean is not the only

worry but it is on of the main worries that needs to be changed as soon as possible.
