PROBLEM STATEMENT

To design and develop an automated tool, which implement a Movie Management System that
supports manipulation of details regarding movies.
 ABSTRACT

The Movie Management System is created for the purpose of storing information about various
fields of the movie. It is purely a movie management service which offers to store the data
including Actor information, Movie information, Casting, Ratings. The admin is required to
login to the system for making any update or changes regarding the movie information and also
maintains the records of current running movies. The application has a rich, user friendly
Graphical User Interface design developed using HTML and PHP. The MMS proceeds through a
sequence of well-designed forms provided with validations to ensure consistency, reliability and
correctness of information fed into database.
PROBLEM STATEMENT

To design and develop an automated tool, which implement a Movie Management System that
supports manipulation of details regarding movies.
DESCRIPTION OF MODULES

 ADMIN MODULE:
This module gives the information about adding, removing and searching the movie
details.
Adding: Admin can add details of movie, director of that movie, and actors of that movie.
Removing: Admin can remove details of directors and actors.
Viewing: Admin can search actor and director details

 ACTOR MODULE:

This module gives the information of personal details of actors such as their id, name,
and gender. It also gives the information of director including his id, name and phone
number.

 MOVIE MODULE:

This module gives the information about which director has directed the movie along the
which along with which actor has acted in that movie. It also provides movie ratings.

 To provide a way for an admin to login into the system and perform different operations.
 To automate Movie Management to provide complete details of a movie to the user.
