their challenges
during the task.
Main session 02 Students will practice Whistle
-Teacher will explain and demonstrate the next individually and Mats
activities : groups.
Round off-It begins from the standing position with
15 min arms in upward direction. Then the hands are placed on
the floor to get in the cartwheel position. However, the
arms must reach forward instead of the sides to get a
correct round off. The gymnast should not leap in a
round off and the second foot should leave the floor
only when the first hand touches the floor. It is also
important that the head is kept in throughout the move
to achieve an over the top effect and not the round off
around the side.

A bridge typically refers to a static position where the

athlete moves the spine, shoulders and hip in
hyperextension, whilst weight supported on the hands
and feet

The headstand, is a pose that is an inversion posture of

standing head down.
Straight

Note: If someone in class that know this skills will help

Plan B: -Plan B will it will be doing this skills on the floor if the mats are not available, and reinforce
the safety aspect.

Reflection
The lesson went well; I managed to do all activities I planned to do. But I realized that the students a having difficulties
doing the skills. Some of them a not putting effort and are not working in groups properly the way II expected. And for
this unit I realized that 45 min is too short.
So I need to come up with different strategies to make sure students learn and engage during the lesson. I introduced 5
gymnastic skills so far but I am not happy, I don’t think they are happy also, at the end of the lesson they give me
feedback (they find difficult some of the skills). We also had some behavior issues during the lesson at the end of the
lesson I talked with them about it. It was suppose to do write activity at the end of the lesson but I had to give them to do
at home.
For next lesson I will go though again on the skills they didn’t understand, and I will teach them how to work efficiently
in group.
This lesson I was being observed by Tom and I am still waiting for feedback.
