Synopsis

Title: TDS (Task Distribution System)

Problem Statement: In this time where technologies are growing very fast. When we come for work
or task distribution we have to go for manual work where the managers and leaders have to divide
the work, command members and check the work by themselves or the members have to
communicate with the managers for asking about their work or have any doubt related to the work
because of less information, so this whole process is time consuming and ambiguous.

Problem Solution: This proposed project work in an attempt to design a web application where
everything will be clear and available online for each type of users from Admin to members.

The leader and managers will have much functionality so that they can do their works more
effectively. Like creating teams, assigning work to them, meeting scheduling, any updating in the
records. For a particular member he/she can easily see the work which is assigned to them with a
clear description, dates related to the works and if need any help so who will be the consulting one.

Project Description: It will be a web application which will provide more features related to the task
distribution of a team. There will be different dashboard for different roles related to their work.

For example- A club of students wants to organise an event so there they need to form team and
assign work to them so that they can easily organise the event. It sounds easy but it is very difficult
to form team, assign work related to their skills or interest, and managing the dates. And lack of
communication forms problem between the team.

So resolve this problem our project comes in the role, Event manager/leader can shortlist the
members using the data they provided during joining the club and form the team. And the
description for the different work will be uploaded so there will not be any ambiguity related to
work. And the manager will have option for updating the record if needed. And the others can see
their work by login in their account and see the assigned work, the important dates and guidance if
needed. And they have to upload the task report and task status so the managers can see the
progress of the work and everyone will have equal opportunities for prove themeselves.

Requirement Specification: Project will be designed using the Django Framework, for the front end
development we will use HTML, CSS and JavaScript and SQLite will be the database server.

Conclusion: Technologies are made for make our work easy and efficient so we should use them.
This project will be very helpful for managing the tasks so that the output and efforts will be as we
want and on time.
