LAST MAN STANDING (Science and Math Quiz Bee)

1. Each section can send in as many players, provided that they are not part of any other competitions/
events.
2. The Quiz Bee is composed of General Mathematics and Science questions.
3. The aim of the competition is to be the LAST MAN STANDING in the competition.
4. The questions are alternately given by category. Each question is given a pre-determined time to be
solved/ answered depending on its difficulty level.
5. The questions shall be read twice. Afterwards, the quiz master will say “GO,” only then the contestants
may proceed to the letter of their choice. Once time is up, participants cannot transfer to another letter.
6. Calculators, electronic gadgets and ANY printed references are NOT allowed. Non-compliance
will mean disqualification in the game.
7. The organizing committee makes sure that all answers to the questions are accurate. In case, however, of
protest/ grievance about the integrity of questions/ answers, the concerning party must address it AS
IMMEDIATELY as possible. Once the question/ answer of interest is skipped, clarifications cannot be
entertained.
8. The technical committee reserves the right to change or improve any part of the mechanics of the contest
without prior notice to the participants for as long as the change/s will not affect the purpose/ objectives
of the contest
9. In the event a situation arises not covered by any rules or mechanics of this contest, the members of the
Technical committee shall determine the final judgement and pronouncement. The decision of the
Committee is final and irrevocable.
