beverage service department which is
responsible for the fulfilling of all hunger needs
of the guest in exchange of money or services or
goods. So the outlet which meets the hunger
demands of the guests in hotel is called
Restaurant.

The term food service skills can be defined as


those set of skills or etiquettes which are required
for serving the food in a proper mannner to the
guest so that it will look professional and make the
guest to feel pleasant. In hotel industry these food

inventory according to the needs in FFJ’s.

know how to resolve the guest issues if
arise and how to solve interdepartmental
miscommunications.

● Budgeting :- He should also have


knowledge about budget setup and
estimations and also expanses for effective
cost cutting.

● Innovative :- workers should be


innovative and creative for uniqueness and
authenticity.

work in hospitality sector as they are vital for
guest satisfaction and for flourishing business
because in this industry, all is about satisfying

important and should be enhanced from time
