Minutes of Meeting

Date: 04.07.2017 & Time 3. PM.


Place of meeting: Consulate General of Canada, Indiabulls Finance Centre, Mumbai.
Participant’s: Srinivas Dhara, Akhil Choudhary

Agenda of Meeting: To Explore business opportunities of Rubicon drinks in India.

Discussed points as follows.

1. As we (Rubicon) are looking for good importer, distributors for every zone in Mumbai and
rest of India. Akhil suggested we can work out two business models 1. Rubicon directly
import and distribute to the retails segment. 2. Rubicon appoint region wise supper stockist,
distributors in both cases he will help us.
2. Akhil will introduce us to Canada trade commissioner in Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore, Kolkatta
so that they can also assist us on evaluation of qualified distributors, supper stockist for
Rubicon.
3. Akhil suggested that, if we Rubicon use some art work like “PRODUCT OF CANADA” or
“PRIDE OF CANADA” on our product buyers get conscious about our products there will be
more chances increase sale’s, (Srinivas Supposed to get back on this after discussion with
Hiteshji)
4. Akhil supposed to send us some Canada govt approved art work which they provide us free
cost, that can be use on our products.
5. Akhil got some connection with broking company in pune, they have huge demand for
concentrated cranberry and blueberry juices, they sale juices on behalf of Rubicon and take
commission, he told if we interested in this Akhil will introduce us to that broking company
(Srinivas suppose to get back on this after discussion with Hiteshji)
6. Akhil will suppose to connect and arrange meeting of Rubicon with Bigbasket, TJUK, PRO
EXIM, and some other distributors very soon.

Thank you for link that you shared with us,

1. As I was gone through link of scheduled 20, were I subtracted & made our products MRL limits out
of it, but we found only 10 products MRL limits out of 22 products of ours, so we want to know
whatever MRL limits we found is that acceptable in Australia or is there anything more need to be
added ???

2. Regarding remaining 12 products which we didn't found any MRL limits on link what you sent, so
please suggest us how, and from where we can get accurate MRL limits acceptable in Australia.

3. UK, Europe has nominated some laboratories in India, and these lab's check consignments MRL
limits before shipments of this products to their respective country to avoid rejection after
shipment.

Does Australia have any such laboratory facility here in India??? just to avoid rejection
circumstances after reaching consignment there, which is what happen to our Shana products in our
last shipment

Thanks for your mail. The product range is quite interesting and the brand is also well known in
some countries.
However, I find that the import duties are very high for juices and hence it is very difficult to sell the
juices at a competitive price in India.
There are many domestic brands and they always have offers in the supermarkets, so the price
difference is quite huge.
Besides, modern trade would require listing fees for the products and sampling / marketing
activities.
Hence, at this stage we are not too keen on undertaking import and distribution of juices.

Finish Goods Level Analysis, we can also provide government approved external laboratory report on
pesticide along with each container, if required. Once you provide us your (Japan) required pesticide
MRL then we will assure to match those.

In view above we don’t see any difficulties to manage traceability, pesticide residue control and
foreign matters

Sweetener Mail
Dear Sir,

I was trying to call you from last 2 days but your number not reachable, I got your reference from
our Director Mr. Hitesh Modi as per your conversation with him you have stevia sweetener(which
you supply to Haldiram for sonn Papdi)

As we manufacture different sweet products like Rasmalli, Halwa, Srikand, hence we would like to
have adequate sample to make one batch of the same.

Box Packing Complain Mail
Dear Deepak Ji,

Hope you doing great, our 40g naan order was executed on 08th of this month hence we got certain
complain about Packaging as concern, client said all boxes were pressed down due to 4 to 5 inch gap
in internal space in carton.

I have attached photographs of the same We have to reduce dimensions of the carton 4 to 5 inch
from top so that packets stuff into it must be fix without any gap in between in it

Nest time we must ensure that there should not aby gap in best possible way.
