NARRATIVE REPORT

The 2nd day of October 2019 is the third Business Summit

of K-12 Entrepreneurs held at the Roxas National High School
Senior High School, San Antonio, Roxas, Isabela with the theme
“ Innovate, Collaborate, and Transform for a Better future”
headed with our assistant principal, Entrepreneur Teachers,
Guest Speaker and together with the Brgy. Officials of San
Antonio.

It was the first time to experience managing a small

business with a lot of competitors around us. October 1, 2019
at 3:00pm to 5:00pm, we spend our time preparing for our
booth together with the utilities and foods that we are going to
sell. After the preparation of tent we give fliers to the
consumers to persuade them and buy their food in our booth.
We started the program at 9:00am in front of the school office
with a prayer and singing of the National Anthem after that we
created our own yell to share because each section have their
own yell. Afterwards our assistant principal gave us an inspiring
message and also with the guest speaker Mr. Macky Magno.
After a few minutes the Business Summit opened and we
started to sell and preparing while our adviser giving us
motivation and inspirations to be a creative entrepreneurs. We
are all confused and busy but we only have a few costumers.
After that we went to every to collect their food sharing for the
visitors. Then, we started to packed our last recipe and started
to display in front of our booth. At exactly 1:35 pm we decided
to eat our lunch so the other members are selling. We don’t
know what are we going to do first when the costumers are
waiting for their orders in front of the booth and shouting “ate
isa nga po dito” but we are still sacrificing just to earn until the
day ends. We spend the whole day selling our foods and waiting
for the costumers to buy.
After the day ends we computed our income statement
which is net loss then we cleaned our booth and removed all
the wastes being used before going home and after we cleaned
our booth all of us go to our classroom and clean. Lastly, the
sharing of every group for their thoughts and sacrifices just to
earn the whole day .we’ve learned a lot of lessons about of
what we have experience all day long. We are tired but we
enjoyed it, even though we came up with a net loss we still
know the worth of an entrepreneurs. I thought that this was
just a game that we are just enjoy it but I was shocked when
everybody are very competitive just to raise the name of their
sections. We’ve learned that no matter how much you know or
how much you prepare you’re going to fail and that’s okay
because You can view it as a lesson and an opportunity to
improve, rather than an end point or a sign that you should give
up entirely. We learned how to manage the time properly.
Surround yourself with a team that inspires you and always
consider the patience and determinations.

REASONS:
The company incurs a net loss when its expenses
are more than its sales and revenues. The company’s
expenses include all costs incurred as a result of its
business operations. These include labor costs, product
costs, inventory, utilities, administrative costs and
salaries. Because revenues and expenses are matched
during a set time. Low revenues contribute to net
losses. Strong competition, unsuccessful marketing
programs, weak pricing strategies, not keeping up with
market demands, and inefficient marketing staff
contribute to decreasing revenues. Decreased revenues
result in decreased profits. When profits fall below the
level of expenses and cost of goods sold (COGS) in a
given time, a net loss results.
