NARRATIVE REPORT ON TULONG DUNONG


S.Y. 2018-2019

I. Introduction:

Academic achievement or (academic) performance is the extent to which a


student, teacher or institution has achieved their short or long-term educational
goals.
Academic achievement is commonly measured through examinations or continuous
assessments but there is no general agreement on how it is best evaluated or which
aspects are most important. Furthermore, there are inconclusive results over which
individual factors successfully predict academic performance, elements such as test
anxiety, environment, motivation, and emotions require consideration when
developing models of school achievement. Now, schools are receiving different
awards based on its student academic achievements. A school with more academic
achievements would receive more awards and recognition than a school with less
achievements.
In order to achieve high academic achievements of different school in
Calamba City, the Division of Calamba City launched a program “Tulong Dunong”.
Thus, Bubuyan Integrated School together with a pool of competent teachers and
supportive School Head Mrs. Charito V. Bernas has committed itself to the mission
of equipping every learner with competencies and lifelong skills and the full
implementation of the said program.

II. Objectives:
1. Train and develop students in their field of expertise on the different
contest in Araling Panlipunan.
2. Provide technical assistance to enhance knowledge of students to achieve
high academic achievement/performance.
3. To awaken the interest of students in participating different contest,
programs and activities of DepEd.
4. To upgrade the school academic achievements/performance.

III. Accomplishment
1. PTA Orientation
2. Collaboration of teachers in selecting the recepient of “Tulong Dunong”.
3. Orientation of students about the contest.
4. Provide videos, example of output and handouts that can be helpful to the
students training.
5. One on one discussion

IV. Suggestion and Recommendation:
1. Provide art materials for poster making, musical instrument for jingle writing
and training room.
V. Conclusion:
In order to achieve the goal of the program ”Tulong Dunong”, students,
teachers and School Head should have the initiative to do the task accordingly and
whole heartedly.
