Statement of Purpose
As a special education teacher and lead innovator for my school, I understand how the effective
and frequent use of diverse forms of technology help to promote student engagement and produce a
positive learning environment. My role as a lead tech innovator has allowed me to teach and encourage
educators to integrate new forms of technology within the curriculum. I plan to support classroom
teachers through the implementation of effective technology tools to enhance and engage student
learning. Additionally, I plan to to create new and effective forms of educational technology which I can
share on a global scale.
