INTEGRATION IDEA - PORTFOLIOS

How might you use this resource in a lesson plan to promote student-centered learning?

This would be a good resource for students to share notes and collaborate their learning. This would work for students who were
absent as notes could be shared. Another way to use this is the weekly planner when working on projects so the students know
what they are supposed to be doing for each day. Notes can also be shared with the teacher and as the note taking is in the
Cornell style it allows questions to be added so the teacher can see what questions the students have and what they understand.

VALUE-ADDED EXPLANATION
 Based on the “value-added rating scale” above, how would you rate the technology integration you described, using the
selected resource?
 Explain your rating based on the rubric indicators.

I would rate this tool with a 2. It does align to content standards but more importantly it would help the students be engaged
while note taking and collaborating. This tool will be mainly used by the students.
