    10.26 PAINTING SYSTEM PL - 01

    GRP, HDPE & PVC external surfaces which require UV protection


    ONSHORE
    Typical Applications: External surfaces of GRP, HOPE & PVC Tanks & Piping

    Surface Preparation: Remove old paint, dirt, dust, chemicals, salts, grease & other
    contaminants from surfaces using hand tools combined with degreaser &/or solvent cleaning,
    followed by fresh water pressure washing.
    On-line facilities: Abrade with silicone free emery paper to clean & achieve desired roughness for
    better adhesion of paints.
    Refer detailed procedures as indicated in appendices & related Industry standard.
