DISCUSSION OF RESULTS

From the experiment performed by the students entitled Magnetic Sensor, the students were able to
understand the concept about the magnetic field transducer and the relationship between the distance
and the output voltage acquired. The students analyzed that the magnetic field transducer is somewhat
similar to optical position sensor in terms of the range it is capable of reading. From the data gathered,
the students analyzed that as the distance of measurement goes further or increases, the voltage output
also increases.

CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATION

The students therefore conclude that in magnetic sensor, the voltage output is directly proportional to
the distance of the screw head to the magnetic field sensor. As the distance of the screw head to the
magnetic sensor increases, the voltage also increases.

The students recommend that the Q-NET Mechkit be properly kept and maintained in good condition
so that the future generation can benefit from the useful apparatus.
