THE SANNEH FOUNDATION RECEIVES $450,000 FROM OTTO BREMER TRUST

St. Paul, MN. (November 25, 2019) – The Sanneh Foundation (TSF) is pleased to announce
the award of $450,000 in grant support from the Otto Bremer Trust. This major multi-year
investment will provide general operating support for TSF’s work in all the places St. Paul
families live, learn, work, and play.
This new round of funding builds on six years of investments in TSF made by the Otto Bremer
Trust (OBT). Beginning with early stage program investment in 2013, OBT support has been
crucial to TSF’s successful and sustained growth, which now includes a $10 million dollar
capital campaign to transform the community center it operates and manages on the city of St.
Paul’s East Side.
“The Otto Bremer Trust’s early recognition of TSF’s potential, and its desire to support St. Paul
has strengthened our organization’s ability to advance community through youth development,”
said Tony Sanneh, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Sanneh Foundation. “This new
large-scale investment by OBT will bolster our work, and help us continue improving the social
and physical infrastructure of the East Side by transforming the Conway Community Center into
the community asset all youth and families deserve.”
