For the celebration of the nurses week, the Florence Nightingale Club
(FNC) organize an amazing race composing of eight different stations, this
report focuses only on the third station (tumbang preso).
On the 2nd day of the nurses week last November 14, 2019, the students
of College of Nursing and Allied Health engage in an activity, there are 7
groups in all composing of 20 participants.
The third station was headed by two(2) officers as facilitator incharge for
the explanation of rules and mechanics,supervising the game, and preparing
the materials needed for the activity- slippers, can, and questions. The station
was place in front of College of Criminal Justice Education with the clue “
iposas mo ko”.
Tumbang preso was one of various laro ng lahi, where the players throw a
piece of slipper in hope of hitting the target- a can. However, the officer thinks
of a twist to make the game more challenging and enjoyable at the same time,
in this station the players must first spin 20 times before throwing the slippers,
and after the managed to, they will be given a chance to answer questions
with corresponding points.
All through out the game, six players ( three from first year and three from
second year) were chosen to play while the remaining members will do
another drill, the Dr. Quack drill with corresponding three points, so that they
could also enjoy and contribute to the teams score.
Upon the game, almost all the group hit a can and was given a chance to
answer one question, each group came up with different strategies and tactics
for them to play the game easily, make efficient actions and minimize wasting
energy. On the time of answering the questions given to them, the facilitator

And despite the exhaustion that they are feeling from performing different
tasks from different station, they still did their very best to accomplish the task.
At the end of each teams performance, the game and pop questions
serves as refresher for them enabling them to recall the past lessons that they
already forget, leaving with contentment and smile on their faces, bearing the
strategies, teamwork, and camaraderie that they have built together.
All in all, each team succeeded on finishing the third station with positive
feedback looking forward for the next event. The facilitators were able to
supervise them in accordance to the rules and mechanics, and finish the
game smoothly with no major mistakes and misunderstandings.
