1. 1 About the Self Encounter Intensive

Tej Gyan Foundation’s “Self Encounter Intensive” is a complete training of mind-body-intellect and beyond
for you, your team and organization. Self Encounter is a forty eight hour training intensive offered in three
to four interventions and spread over three to four months where participants lay the foundation for a
simple, powerful and integrated life.

Self Encounter occurs over four intensives of two days each, thus making it a total of eight days. These
eight days shall be delivered as programs once a month. These intensives are focused on Leadership,
Innovation, Productivity and Communication respectively. Every intensive requires at least one to two
weeks of gap between them to produce best results. The outcome then is Ease, Clarity, Velocity and Joy in
every action.

1.3 Projects to demonstrate Leadership


Tej Gyan Foundation believes that mere training shall not produce effective leadership. Participants
of the self encounter intensive shall undertake leadership projects. Tej Gyan Foundation proposes
that senior management should sponsor and review these projects.

Details of how these projects shall be carried within the trainings are explained below:
Project scope Project Action & Purpose

Individual Participants choose small projects that are important to be


completed, such as complete reading of a book, completing a
certification, weight loss, etc. Participants learn how to generate
extra energy that can sustain personal commitments with greater
ease. This project lays the foundation for understanding personal
accountability and leadership.

Interpersonal Participants share and celebrate the experience of increased


(group based) self-esteem. They form a small group of project partner(s) and
together scan the institutional initiatives envisioned by senior
management and create a group project around this. This project
enhances expression of interpersonal leadership. Facilitators
assist groups to design a plan, communicate progress or
breakdowns and execute using different styles of leadership.

Community Participants share and celebrate their experience of versatility.

their project partner(s) and also inspire other members, not a part
of this training, to be a part of their project. This project is
typically of a long duration.
