NOTICE
DECENTRALIZED COUNSELING
Ref G.O. No. 361Edn(T)/10M-86/15 dated: 17/07/2019
Filling up of the vacant seats in degree level engineering, technology courses after the e- counseling 2019 through
decentralized counseling (institute level) for admission into B.Tech. first year in the academic session 2019-20.

In reference to the orders cited above the candidates full filling all the eligibility criteria and terms and conditions as
stipulated by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board in respect of the examination ‘WBJEE-2019’ for admission
to any technical courses are hereby asked to submit their applications in given format attached here with as per schedule
against the vacant seats given below. Candidates will report along with the application form and submit the same between
10-30 a.m. to 12-00 noon on 05-08-2019 at the institute. No application will be entertained after the schedule
date and time.
Document verification and Seat allotment according to the Merit list will be started at 2-30 PM (If any candidate misses
the serial no/Merit position at the time of document verification and Seat allotment, he/she shall be treated as absent)
College admission form along with requisite fees as per guide line to be deposited by the selected candidates within office
hours on 06-08-2019 failing which his candidature will liable to be cancelled.
Date of Counselling: 05-08-2019
Merit list to be published: 2-00 PM on 05-08-2019
The venue of the counselling: GCETT-B Auditorium.

Eligibility Criteria:
a) Merit Rank – candidates having Engineering ‘General Merit Rank’ (GMR) in WBJEEB -2019
b) Domicile - Domicile criteria as mentioned in Information Brochure of WBJEEB -2019 is required to be satisfied.
Candidates belonging to States other than West Bengal shall not be considered for admission to Govt. Engineering Colleges.
c) Age – Candidate must be 17 years of age or above as on 31.12.2019.
d) Educational Qualification - Candidates must pass Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination of West Bengal Council of
Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination from a recognized Council/Board in regular class mode with:-
I. Individual pass marks in Physics, Mathematics Chemistry/Biology/Computer Sc./Bio-Technology etc as compulsory
subjects and
II. Minimum of 45% marks in the above subjects taken together (40% for SC/ST/ PwD/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates) as well
as pass in English with a minimum of 30% marks (for all categories of candidates) in the said qualifying examination.
Note: Pass marks in any subject shall imply pass marks in theory and practical individually, as applicable, as specified by
the concerned Council/Board.
• The following self-attested photocopy of documents must be enclosed with the application.
1. WBJEE – 2019 Rank Card
2. Self-Attested photocopy of class 10/ Secondary Mark sheet
3. Self-Attested photocopy of (10 + 2) / Higher Secondary Mark sheet
4. Admit card of Madhyamik Pariksha (10th)/ Copy of Age proof certificate.
5. SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PC certificate (If Applicable).
6. Domicile certificate as per WBJEEB-2019 GUIDELINE
7. One recent pass-port size photograph to be affixed with the application form.
• No candidate will be allowed to enter into the counseling room (College Auditorium) after the said
time and their candidature will be liable to be cancelled.
