Aim: To develop students’ reading and comprehension skills in English with the help of their
native tongue Bangla.

Learning Objectives:
On successful completion of this lesson, learners will be able to-
 Develop their reading skills
 Enrich their vocabulary with some dozens of new words
 Learn to analyze critical texts
 Comprehend complex and compound sentences
 Improve their translation skill

Language Use:
English and Bangla (Bangla will be used as Medium of Instruction as recommended by the
GTM)

Required Materials:
Sufficient seats for students
Multimedia tools (Laptop, Projector, Sound box etc.)
English for Today (for class 11-12) book or handouts of the chapter
