1. Introduction

Purpose of the Document

This document provides the guidelines for operating FX-SWAP Member Server Services.

Scope of the Document

This document will provide the user with guidelines for operating FX-SWAP Member Server
Services. The functionality and usage instructions for various business modules are not a part of
this document and are covered in separate user manuals.

Organization of the Document

The document is organised as follows:

1. Section 2 contains Start of day activities.

2. Section 3 contains End of day activities.
3. Section 4 contains FX-SWAP Checklist.

2. Start of Day Operations

1.Double click on the FX-SWAP Member Server Services shortcut icon on the desktop

Server Icon

2.The Member Server automatically brings up the Queue Manager, the Sender Channel, the Reciever
channel and the Listener.

3.When both the Sender and Reciever are running, the Member Server displays their status as
RUNNING in Green.

4.When the Member Server is connected, the icon is displayed on the right corner of the taskbar, with a
tooltip, displaying the FX-SWAP Member Server Services started successfully message.

3. End of Day Operations

1. After all the FX-SWAP Dealing System Users are logged off, Stop FX-SWAP Member server services.
For this right click on the task bar icon of FX-SWAP Member server services and click on stop
Member Server .

2. Click on ‘OK’.
