Winter Joy

By Sofia Moussa

Winter Joy is the perfect hat pattern to knit for your loved
ones around the holiday season. It's festive, traditional
and takes little time to knit as it uses bulky yarn. You can
keep it traditional by using white and red yarn skeins or
make it funky with interesting color combinations. Winter
Joy is guaranteed to bring its wearer joy because who
doesn't love to wear a pretty fair isle hat in winter?

Decrease and finishing notes:

When you start the decrease rounds, you can either switch to double pointed needles or continue using
the 16”/ 40 cm needles and using the magic loop method when the hat’s circumference gets too small for
the needles.

In the final round, you should have 7 (7) sts on the needle. Using a darning needle, thread through the
stitches and fasten off. Weave in the ends and attach a pompom if desired.
