I start all my rounds with a standing stitch and finish all my rounds with an invisible join (aka
needle join), but you may do as you please or as you are used to.

Special Stitches:

Popcorn: make 5 dc in the indicated st, drop loop from hook and insert hook into the first dc,
pick up dropped loop and pull it through the first dc. Ch 1 to close pop. The ch is part of the
pop st.
Puff: (Yarn over, insert hook into the indicated st, yarn over, pull through to the front, lifting
it for length) 3 times, you have 7 loops on hook, yarn over and pull through all loops on hook,
finish puff with a ch 1. The ch is part of the puff st.
3dcCL: make 3 incomplete dc in the same indicated st (4 loops on hook), yarn over and pull
through all 4 loops on hook.
2trCL: make 1 incomplete tr in the indicated st (2 loops on hook), make another incomplete tr
in the same st (3 loops on hook), yarn over and pull through all 3 loops on hook.

Start in any fpsc of round 30.

We start the squaring off; we’ll have 4 sides at the end of this round.
